Dominica
After Hurricane María devastated the Caribbean island of Dominica in 2017, the nation made a radical vow: to become the world's first climate-resilient country. Five years on, they have the plan to make it reality.
Climate Blueprint: Dominica is the first installment in the Climate Blueprint documentary series. The film explores what it truly means for a small island in the Caribbean to face the full force of climate change while still living with the legacies of colonialism, slavery, natural resource extraction, and environmental degradation. Rather than cataloguing damage, it asks a more powerful question: what does a resilient future look like when an entire nation commits to becoming a model for the world?
